The organizational Committee of the International Redemptorist Youth Congress Lviv-2010 wishes all our friends and members of Redemptorist communities throughout the world a very blessed 2010 year and joyful Christmas!  

As the tradition every two years Lviv Province of CSsR provides Youth Festival on which are participating youth communities from our parishes. This year from July, 30 till August, 2 in Ternopil the Youth Festival was organized by eighth time

On the 10 – 14 July 200, in the retreat house of the CSSR monastery (Holosko, Lviv), the Preparatory Meeting for the International Congress of the Redemptorist Youth, which will take place in August 2010 in Lviv, was held.

Main discourse, spiritual meetings and retreats of the future International Youth Congress Lviv 2010 will be organized with main theme: Be as You!

As a result of the meeting, the date of the Congress and the number of the participants were fixed and themes of the Congress and daily routine were determined. Also a lot of concrete details of the future Congress were discussed. Delegates, who had been involved in the organization of previous youth congresses shared their experiences, emphasizing important areas for consideration.

During the five days spent in the monastery, participants had an opportunity to get acquainted with Eastern Catholic Rite (spirituality) by taking part in the Greek-Catholic Liturgy, honoring of the Mykola Chernetskyy and Vasyl Velychkovskyy relics, visiting of the Basylians’ monastery in Krehiv and also the Redemptorist sisters’ house.
